Question Homozygous question just out of curiousity

This is just a question out of curiousity not about breeding at all. I'm just wondering is all. If a foal's dam is Homozygous for the tobiano gene but the father is Heterozygous for tobiano what if any chance will the foal be Homozygous tobiano?

Being horseless is the pits!!

You have a 50% chance of the foal being homozygous for tobiano.

Yup, as ever, ND is correct

Just wanted to add that being homozygous for tobiano is not a guarantee for colour

Now that I knew. Thanks for the reply. I've learned a lot about horses colors and genetics from this forum and books.
