Hi im 16 from Australia, and I do a Equine Industry course in year 10. Im wondering if people could let me know the qualifications they have in horse breeding and what they did in the course how this has benefited them. Im interested at working at a Stud farm training/riding the horses showing them, and off course help breeding them. I really want the best Course available or Degree and I would want to finish the whole course (breeding course) and if there are other smaller courses on genetics, coloring similar to Breeding. Im not very interested in having my own Stud farm but I would love to have excellent knowledge on the science it takes to breed a useful and well bred horse, so I have the knowledge to be able to excel working at a Australian Stud farm working on improving blood lines and recording them down ect. I really don't know much about breeding because of course im only 16, and I will also be getting regular government money soon which would fund my course and so I can afford regular (private) lessons again so I can be a capable rider/trainer in the future. Also what qualifications do I need to get into the BEST course degree on breeding.
