Horse insurance

I am updating my insurance on my 3 quarter horses was wondering what yall thought was a safe amount as far as colic surgeries and all whats the norm my agent thinks 15000 per horse is that realistic?

Your best bet is to call the facility where you would have it done and get a price. The last time I took a quick look at the NC State Vet school, you could easily exceed $2000 with tests/etc just bring your horse into the emergency facility.

On the sixth day, God created the Quarter Horse.
On the seventh day, he Painted the good ones.

I have Markel insurance and they automatically included Colic insurance of $2500 onto each policy.
