I found crickets sire!

When im bored, I will go onto dreamhorse.com and ill type in horses from crickets pedigree and just look and see what "siblings" of hers are out there. Well I found two half sisters, same sire. So I thought that was cool, they look like her, just alot more chrome, and alot shorter. But then I found cickets daddy! He is a handsome boy, but I definantly see were she gets her legs from anyways I thought it was kinda cool. I e-mailed the person selling him, and just asked some questions about him and also asked if she maybe new circket. Hopefully she will respond back, but I understand if she doesnt since im not a buyer. Anyways, here is crickets daddy.

Aw thanks tiff! I think so to. THe owner (well its the daughter of the person who bred and raised cricket) e-mailed me back, and she remembers cricket. She started her as a three year old, she was a late bloomer, but was super easy to teach. She is a very nice person and was more than welcome to answer any more questions. So I asked if she had any pics of Cricket as a baby, yearling, two or three year old. Then I asked if she had any pics of crickets dam. I can't wait to see. The sire didnt do anything. He was broke to ride as a two year old, was started on heading, but then the guy that owner him had to have a bunch of surgeries so he sold him to the breeder of cricket. So he was going to be a head horse, its the thought that counts lol. But she said he throws all-around horses. From western pleasure, to roping, to barrels. I can't wait to find out more, ill keep you guys up-dated.

She e-mailed me back, and said she is going to ask her mom if she has any pics of cricket when she was a baby. She's also hopefully going to send me some pics of crickets dam. Crickets dam was 15.3h and big bodied, so there not sure were cricket got her height lol. She thinks the sire must have the "tall" gene. Anyways, when I get some pics ill post them on here.

That's pretty cool that you seem to have found your girl's original breeder The sire is a nice looking boy, too.

This is so cool! I'm also in "research" mode with my horse but I cannot for the life of me find his breeders. I found his sire and emailed them. I'm like you -- I want to see baby pictures!!

Lol. Yep I want to see some baby pics. Hopefully you can find them, since you found his sire maybe they can tell you who the breeders were.
