I have a new bay filly

One of the mares that was rescued last Aug foaled today.
A nice bay filly with a lightning bolt just above her nostrils. She has a black mane and tail and looks like her legs are going to be black.
The mare is a QH that was chased into my yard in Aug. They chased her 5 miles and refused to pick her up and gave her to me.
She is a sorrel QH and was purchased at an auction.
I was told that a bunch of ranch horses were trailered from south Texas in hopes of getting better prices.
They had her 2 months if my spainish is correct so she was bred before they bought her.
Those large ranches turn a stallion out with the mares.
I'm glad she is healthy and looks to be good quality I was not going to be happy if it was a mule or a pinto.
Now I'm going to have to learn how to post pictures so I can show her off. Shalom

    Yearling
To post a picture click on the go advanced button, then when the screen comes up at the top there will be paperclip, click on it and another window will open that will allow you to download the pictures from your computer, it's easier than it sounds.

I was given this computer a laptop and a digital camera as retirement presents. I have used the laptop and the computer but not the camera I will try and take pictures tommorrow.
This filly is too cute. I am so relieved that she looks to be physically OK.
I had no idea what she was bred to.
The mother is VERY protective of her so I have not been able to approach more than 10 feet.
I have taqken down the round pen and moved it closer to a small walk in so I can work with the filly for the next week and get her used to being handled.
Cmarie thanks for the instructions. If I am successful it will be to your credit. Shalom
