Oh please do! We are 5 minutes outside of Waterford and I'd love to have you stop in and meet him! He will probably be filthy after having a roll once he goes outside this morning though ...

Give me a call - 519-443-0036 - if you need directions. I have a couple of short errands to run so I can play around with times depending on if you feel you can come by and when

Here is a picture we took of him yesterday:

PLEASE remember that he is 18 going on 19 years old, he has that darned chewed off tail compliments of the goat, he has only been here 5 days and I need to get a lot more weight on him and the blacksmith is coming next week to get his feet done . But I've had so many people ask for a conformation shot of him, I needed to get side, front and back views done for the registries, and time was running out so I was kind of stuck taking them now before he 100% looked his best

How can a palomino going gray have a dark mane and tail? The only reason I can think of is if he was a very sooty palomino to start with?
I too would guess the sooty gene was at play. I had a palomino mare whose mane and tail was dark grey throughout the winter months and only lightened to white through the spring and summer. I'll get a picture of her after feeding and post it

With regards to the pally with the dark mane and tail - it may not be sooty. It is relatively hard to actually tell the base colour of a grey by the colour that is on the horse at the time. Grey does funny things.

I love his feet and legs. He will be AWESOME with just a little more weight. I am all for breeding horses with strong feet and legs. We need more of that!

I just LOVE him! What a beautiful head and neck!
I'm in Waterford almost weekly, so maybe next week will work. Do you know Tisdale's feed/tack shop? I'm going there next week - are you around there? I think it would be so cool to meet a HF member in person - we'd have to take some pics!
I still want to find the right QH mare to breed with your cremello stud. I don't think my filly will turn out to be breeding quality, but you never know.

I would love to have you stop by! We are about 6-7 minutes away from Tisdale's place. Just give me a call or email me for directions if you don't have GPS

I finally got a picture last night of one of Winner's hunter offspring. This is Imiro who is currently leading the Zone in Junior HUnters:

Im noticing that more and more as well - especially now that I am actually LOOKING for grey horses and especially dilutes that are greying out!

I am SO grateful to the people (especially the ones who read and speak Polish! ) that are still finding out information and pictures of Winner and his offspring that I havent been able to access as my Polish is non existent!

I got sent the most fabulous picture last night of Winner in one of the Grand Prix's, jumping this HUGE fence and making it look like a hunter round ... :)

Now off to see if I can find this photographer and if he has any more pictures from the late '90's that I can find of him ...

TCF, this is a bit unrelated, but are you still standing GG? I read somewhere else on the net you had sold him. I\'ve got my eye on a CSHA mare that I want to purchase and am toying with the idea that if I did buy her, breeding her to GG.

We thought he was sold but then everything fell apart with the people that were going to buy him so he is here, he is staying here now and I couldnt be happier! So if I can help at all with the CSHA mare if you do end up buying her, please let me know!
