Nice choice...if he were still alive, his grandaddy would be one of my choices... http://barnlot.tripod.com/romanstrawnarr.html

I love great versatility lines, and this is one of them...

lol, it'll probably be seven or eight years before I want to breed her, but they would be a nice little match. Right now we think Lily should mature to 16hh, ATF stands 17.1hh at his wither and 16.4 at his hip. ATF is only APHA, both his parents were paints, but luckily ATF is OLWS negative. He is extremely trendy right now for english horses, and has produced a couple nice western pleasure horses too I think.

I would have to have a mare to breed first. But if I did, she would be homozygous for black (EE), homozygous for brown (AtAt), and fairly perfectly conformed - probably a warmblood of some type. I would then breed her to Guaranteed Gold (because distance makes no difference in the fantasy world right?) for a brown based buckskin foal that would grow to be my competition poneh. Delish.

Oh why would I choose GG? He has it all - great build, and colour to boot.

I have two stallions I would like for my mare. It mostly depends on what I'd want in the baby which I would choose.

For a versatility horse I can do jumping/gaited dressage/anything with:

Hardcastle's Prime Sun

Black and white tennessee walking horse stallion.

Multiple state champion trail pleasure/lite shod horse.

TWHA national champion lite shod.

Reserve world champ lite shod, trail pleasure, and model.

DAMMMNNN, this horse has great gaits. Beautiful, natural running walk and canter -- something my mare lacks. His babies are all great movers as well.

For an endurance horse:

The Gravedigger

Tennessee Walking Horse Farm

I LOVE his comformation. He's by multiple WGC The Virginia Undertaker.

He's a speed racker; gaits up to 25 miles per hour. Proven producer of endurance babies.

Reserve WGC and multiple state championships in lite shod, trail pleasure, and flat shod racking. Florida state champion gaited poles and barrels too.
