Wow, they are both gorgeous. I'm sorry to here about Romeo :(
For names, what about "Tru Romeo", "Painted The Stars", "Tru To Midnite", "Starry Nite", or "Hrs To Paint"?

Thank you for the condolences. Romeo was a wonderful stallion, Indian has just as sweet and kind temperament as Romeo did. I'm really looking forward to this pairing.

Thank you for the name suggestions please keep them coming. On my last check for the night both udder are full and both little nipples are pointing down. I thought there might have been wax but couldn't tell for sure in the flashlight light and one of my other mares pushing me away from her, which is a good sign the girls tend to get protective of one another close to foaling. Don't get me wrong I don't believe she will foal tonight but soon. There is a storm coming in tonight with snow expected by morning, it's very windy and chilly tonight.

Storm coming you say? Get your foaling kit together
Good luck - I can't believe how tiny she is - Merlot looked like a barge for a good two months before she foaled.

The side shots don't show her girth well. The first pic I posted of her was Non preggo. I'll get some of her from the front she is sticking out pretty good on both sides still that's why I don't think she'll foal tonight she hasn't transversed yet. Foaling kit is together.

Merlot, Indian seems to carry high. She doesn't look like a barge but she is sticking out a bit, as you can see by her tail, (some is because of the wind) that she is rubbing, last night she had her butt up against the wooden corner post. She didn't have wax this morning but she is salting.

Indian seem to be in a holding pattern, no progress what so ever.

Foal has arrived

Well I got half my wish I got my Black and White like I knew I would but I did not get my colt, I got a little feminine filly, she has interesting markings which I honestly don't know if I like or not yet, she has 2 blue eyes, she about 60/40 color 60 being white.

Mom is going to have to be watched closely she ripped pretty good, the vet said it couldn't really be stitched up.
