    She is I just love touching her. She loves to get her butt rubbed too.

    This sire was bred to like 5 other mares always samething black or bay. Sassy's mother was liver chestnut and Cider the mother to my baby and the black colt video above is a chestnut with the flaxen mane and tail. I don't know about the other mares.

    The sire is throwing his black gene (may or may not be homozygous black), but he isn't passing on agouti (bay/brown/wild bay) as he has no agouti gene being black. Chestnuts/sorrels can and do carry agouti without it expressing as it only affects black based horses.

    Oh ok I got it thank you for clearing that up for me. I understand rabbit genetics a bit but not so much with horse just yet this is my first foal.
