I recieved a underweight mare in March, she had been rescued in December before that. She was in a pasture with 12 horses and was being nursed off by two foals, one 5 month old and a yearling, ontop of that she was thought to be pregnant as there was a stallion running with all mares and foals. So far she has had a pretty pampered life, a week into staying the vet came out and confirmed her not in foal to everyone's relief. She was given antibiotics for 10 days to help her digestive tract, though it helped with her rainrot and the many sores that were found; on her back, neck, chest, in her mane, almost everywhere. She also is recieving 9 pounds of senior feed split through out the day directed by the vet.
Pictures to come.
