The scary part of that is the only thing I really have done is fed her, other then a vet check and teeth floated. Her teeth weren't even that bad, just a little sharp.

Wow! Looks like you are doing a super job! :) Isn't it rewarding knowing you've given her a chance in life? Did your vet happen to say how old she is?

I love before and after shots. You've done a great job just by rescueing her.

Her papers say she is 13, so I'm going with that.

She is a sweet girl, she loves on humans more then other horses. Though she loves food more then humans, lol. I don't think it will take her much longer to get fully back to her normal weight. I just need to get her to play nice with the gelding so she can go out and graze more often.

Well this girl is definitely getting her energy back.

Last night she was galloping around her paddock.

Though this morning I went out to feed her, I put my other mares blanket on because I heard it was supposed to rain and it was cold out. So she started trotting off and apparently the blanket that was on her spooked Lena. So Lena took of running and my other mare did as well, this caused Lena to jump and completely clear a four foot fence and take off full speed away.
