Line breeding

I have a well bred nice looking Arab mare that is double Khemosabi. I am planning to breed her to a Khemosabi son. I've usually avoid too close of a cross but was told the Khemo line doesn't have any real defects to worry about. What are your thoughts?

Here are the bloodlines and photos.

Your mare's Khemosabi is quite a way back. I wouldn't even think about it, let alone worry about it.

Mods, grant me the serenity to see the opinions I cannot change, courage to change the ones that should change, and the wisdom to spot the trolls.

I agree...the foal would have K in the 2nd, 4th, and 5th - that barely qualifies as linebreeding, much less any kind problem...

Thanks, I figured this would be fine but wanted to make sure there weren't any issues I might now know about. I like to be thorough when deciding my breeding choices.

I love the Khemo horses. I think it is a great idea.

*clap* Better to ask the question than go in without every scrap of knowledge. Kudos to you
