Lola's foaling thread!

Lola is a registered apha breed to a registered apha her due date is June 23rd.
Going to post pictures and hopefully I can figure out how close we are. She was bagged right up this morning and looking very uncomfortable. If picture is of her stud and last years filly please keep in mind I did not breed this mare she was left in feild with stud for 3 years a friend bought her and filly in November! Okay going to post thread and see if I can figure out how to post pictures.

If she had been left in a field with the stud, are you sure on the due date? Do you have any pictures of the father to be that you can share? What are the mommy and daddy to be's registered names? Just curious

Anyways, this is another foaling thread to stalk ;)

And welcome to the forum!

Here are the pictures from your album

I chose an advanced reply, and I was copying the picture URLs from the pictures in your album and pasting them into the reply by using the button that has a mountain and a sun for a thumbnail. That works for inserting pictures that are on the internet. All you need to do is paste the picture's address in the box that comes up. You can get a picture's URL address by right clicking on the picture, go to properties, then copy the address (URL).

An easy way to add pictures straight from your computer is to do an advanced reply, click on the paperclip on the top row of the reply box, and that brings up a window to manage attachments. Click browse, select your picture file, click upload. After it is uploaded, you can browse for another picture to attach if desired. You can attach as many as ten pictures into a single reply

Foal
Thank you very much unfortunately my computer crashed so I am on my mobile.
What do you think of her belly? She seems huge to me. I can try and get pictures of her udder but she is not the type to let anyone but her foal near them. All I have is mares and they all love a good rub down there. Not her!

Hard to tell. Depends on what her "normal" is. She looks like she carries heavy. She very well may have conceived on her foal heat.

Do you know if she or the stallion were ever tested for the frame overo gene? Just wondering

Last year's baby is a CHUNK,huh?

No doubt she is close, but nobody is going to be able to tell you how close... only God and mare knows!

Do you have her separated from the others, the foaling kit ready, and hour vet on speed dial?

So exciting .. will be waiting with you!

I do not know they were very poorly taken care of till my friend bought the mare and filly and the stud was moved to a new home so I don't think they have been. As for foal heat I am pretty sure he got her then she has had a belly since I first seen her in October. It just keeps getting bigger. The only thing I know about her last delivery is that she was left in the feild and thank goodness everything went smooth.

Foal
She is out with my other 4 mares during the day and in foaling stall at night. I have everything together and vet on speed dial also 3 people who have delivered many goals as our vet is 2 hours away. But I have another vet I don't really like on speed dial to. This is only my second foal ever and I have been researching for months and learning as much as possible.
