Magnum Psyche daughter?

So I found a daughter of Magnum Psyche in my area for sale. I know that her breeding is mostly halter, but many halter horses have produced good pleasure horses as well.

She has both pros and cons:

Pros: she is cheap, but well bred with many national champions all over up close to her, she has produced at least 2 foals

Cons: she is 11 years old, I don't think she was ever shown, and she has had very little done with her (not really even started undersaddle)

Question, should I look at her as a possible broodmare (I keep and raise her foal/s for my own use), get her trained undersaddle, or look for something younger/trained that is priced much higher? (she isn't free, but not far from it)

Video I found of her that was posted by her breeders on their site (her breeders got two foals from her before selling her and I think she has changed hands at least once since then)

What are your thoughts?

Thank you

I'd get her, train her, and breed her if and when you are ready. She has beautiful movement.

She has nice movement, but why wasn't she broke is it just because she was used as a broodmare or is there another reason? If her training level doesn't matter to you get her as a brood.

Wow. Make her a chestnut, throw four high white socks and a big blaze on her, and she could be the twin of my friend's Magnum Psyche granddaughter! Their movement, carriage and build are almost identical! The only thing I don't like about Remi (my friend's mare) is that she could be the poster child for arab flightiness and she doesn't have as much bone as I like. But, you have to take the bone statement with a grain of salt. I do own a half draft, after all.

Overall, I like her. Why is she so cheap, though?

I'm having trouble getting the video to load, so I can't comment specifically. Watch out for the legs.

I looked her up on Data Source, I love the way she's bred but I see a couple of breeding red flags. She was bred by a very well known Arabian farm, had 3 foals for them, one was exported to Germany. She was sold to another well known breeder in Dec 2009, who then sold her to another owner (possibly her current one) in 2010, just 8 months later.

Breeding Red Flags:
Pertinent only if you want to breed and with this mare, I can't imagine NOT breeding her unless there aren't answers or unless you don't like the answers to the questions.

No foals registered after 2008
What's her SCID status
What's her CA status (Magnum is a known carrier of CA)

I would want a FULL breeding work up before I took this mare, and IF no test results for SCID, CA I would pass, unless they would test and disclose the anwers. It isn't a matter that she has to be clear on everything, but you need the info to make an informed decision on purchase and/or breeding choices for her.

Temperament could be pretty hot, she's Padron Psyche & Bey Shah. Has Khemosabi on her dam line, that could kind of calm things down a little.

Finally! Got the vid to load and play. She's quite lovely, of course I can't really tell anything about her movement since they speed up, slow down etc etc. Can't comment specifically on conformation as these types of videos make it pretty impossible to spot any flaws. Overall impression: She's lovely, I'd like a bigger eye, but that can be bred for, certainly NOT a reason to not take her.

Good luck, I'm looking forward to hearing your reaction to meeting her and what your impressions are.
