"May's" Pregnancy thread-2013 Foal

Well, third times the charm. We have a live baby as of this morning. The baby kicked the crap out of guy's hand as he was ultrasounding her. He said the baby was too big to see on his ultrasound but we saw a lot of movement on the ultrasound including his little hoof! Due April 15, 2013. Very excited about this baby.

Pedigree of baby:

Dam:
I May Get Lucky Quarter Horse
Sire:
Me Too Radical Quarter Horse

Pictures will come soon. :)

Yay! That's always a good feeling when you find out there is for sure a baby in there.

I have almost as long as you as my two are due around 8th April, both run with the stallion in the fields, so fingers crossed, good luck with the foal,

Ok. After realizing a mistake-and yes I had no idea I did it wrong. I used a calender this morning and found she's actaully due April 9th instead! I used a paper and pencil the first time out of excitement. Last covered May 4th.

I am working Mara out on the first day she was covered as she was pasture bred and the stallion was very secretive, and the was theh 1st of May so she is due on the 8th therefore should May be due on the 11th?

Usually you count 25 days before the last breeding date as the due date. Meaning count backwards 25 days from the last breeding date. :) If anything else try a foaling calculator. They're rather fun. :)

I am going of the first time he covered her as I didn't see him cover her again but she was in with him from the 1st of May to the beginning of August, how ever going by her size she is due tomorrow lol.

May is five months and doing well. Got a picture coming tomorrow. :) She's currently kind of grumpy especially after we fed her. Her buddy is the alpha between them and I think he's rather nervous about pushing her around LOL. Loving them.
