Meggy - Not long to go!

Thought it was about time I took some pics of Meg and her big belly. She's started to bag up tonight, I noticed when I brought her in! Two weeks and 4 days till her due day, do you think she may foal early?
Sorry they arent the greatest pictures. They were taken on my mobile.

Mares often start bagging up a month or even more before they foal. I wouldn't worry too much.

she's got one big belly. She looks adorable tho.

I love the picture with your daughter (i hope she's your daughter, sorry if she's not) and Meggy. From the way the fence is, it looks as if Meggy is coming over to see who is in the pasture. It's very cute.

You have to be getting SO excited!! Are you going to have the vet on call to come out when she begins foaling? Your girls belly is pretty big - it is so cute!

I still have about 8 weeks to go, and I am hardly able to contain myself lately. Dreamer's belly is not as big as I had expected - but she still looks adorably pregnant. :)

Definatley have the vet on call. He's a friend too, so that makes it so much easier.
I can't explain how excited I am. I hoping she will hold on a bit longer yet though, as its freezing over here at the moment, it didn't get above -5C the past few days, but thank fully the weather has has a turn around and we were at 9c today.
She's just changed so much the past few days, her vulva (girlie area) looks looser, doesn't look as zipped up as usual, and she seems a bit grumpy/agitated. And with her starting to bag up, it must be getting near.

Ahh that's exciting! You have to promise to post pics as soon as the foal is born... okay fine you have a little while to bond with the foal and fawn and everything.. but then you have to post pics!

Wow, very exciting! I love mare's fat little belly before they have their baby.
Best of luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for a safe delivery!
