I dont think 3 is going to be hugely rough on her if shes well built. Its the people who breed scrawny 2 year old and sell them as bred mares that bug me. I think I would breed at 4 to foal at 5 thought if I was breeing horses. I also know that breeding too late in life can have its problems aswell. Good luck to your friend!

well abortion would have seemed the best option and we talked about that this morning and she flat out refuses to abort it. she has had the vet out just for a general health check and she spoke to her about it and the vet told her to stop worrying.

shes panicking less now. shes decided to keep it as the stallion was quite a nice stallion and suits her filly so shes now gone from scared to excited *rolls eyes*
