I just got a call today that my GELDING is a DADDY
Apparently before I bought him he bred a year in a half year old Black minimal Tobiano filly (full sister to Loki) and just a day or two ago, out came a little filly!
I think she's black (will probably gray), has two hind socks, a star, and a snip.
Squeaker, my gelding, was born the same way. A graying black Missouri Fox Trotter stud colt got fancy with a black Tobiano Tennessee Walker filly and out came my little guy. Like father like son, eh?
Unfortunately, they didn't know she was in a family way and was grazed on fescue. She's not producing any milk and rejected the filly, so it looks like a foster case now.
Heres the daddy, I don't have any mommy pictures. These are pre-gelding days, he was something like....a year in a month or two? He's gotten wider and taller since then (now about two years old). He'll end up a sturdy 16hh at the least, built like a tank.
I've always loved his head, it's so neat and refined. Makes me think of Thoroughbreds
