    It could have been a walker, don't walkers come in spots? I thought I had a friend that had a spotted walker.

    She looks like a Walker to me...Maybe mom was bred to a walker with some color, or spotted saddle horse.

    How old is she? Even if she was pure Walker, they don't always hit the ground at a gait. Some have to be worked into it, so it is possible. My boy has 2 gaited parents and we had to work a little bit to get him going. Very pretty!

    She looks like a Walker to me too and I second the idea that she just may not "know" how to gait. I've seen Walkers with pinto markings too.....

    Beautiful girl. I second Joe's warning. I've gotten in some pretty hairy situations riding with loose horses..... Think I'd learn by now wouldn't you?

    Even though I can see the 'walker' in her, the sire still could have been a paint/pinto and the foal just has got more of the mares conformation.
    I would put my $'s on paint or pinto.
