need help

I adopted a race horse, Thourghbreed, from a lady who recived her as a resuce. I know she is registed, she is tatooted. I do have her race name, but I can not find any information on her. I would love to locate her papers. I am not very good with computers and I am new horse ower. Any help would be apprecatied. Her name is Lanina's Turn and she is about 9 or 10. I have tried looking at a few sites, but I am not sure what reports I would need to purchase.
My husband would like to know about her racing years. We don't need her papers for anything really, just thought it would be nice to have them. She is a really good horse and we love her alot.

I believe the jockey club has a look up. I will see what I can find for you.

Thanks Round Pen. Would you have any idea how to locate her papers? My husband really enjoyed seeing her raceing history....

I don't remember my JC registered boy having papers-I am not sure they have a hard copy actual piece of paper like QH's do.

I suppose you could contact the JC with her tattoo number and ask them.

I honestly have no idea when it comes to a hard copy of papers, I'm sorry. I never did end up getting a thoroughbred, I just did a ton of research. Best advice would be contacting the JC with her name/tattoo and trying.

There is a hard copy of JC papers. I have my mares. Theyre truely not all that important unless you plan on either breeding the horse or unless they are racing. The people I got my mare from generally do not give out the papers but she trusts me (i am related to her and retrain quite a few of her Off Trackers so she knows I am not going to end up racing them) so she gave me Novas papers.
