    new babies

Almost a year ago a stud got out and bred 3 mares in my pasture. 2 of the mares were overo, one black and white and one chestnut and white, and the last mare is a strawberry roan. The stud is a very loud palomino and white overo paint.

For a very long time I have hoped and prayed for healthy babies. One of the mares had a lethal baby , but the other two had healthy babies who could almost pass for twins. No they are not twins and no they do not look exactly alike, but I think its very interesting that with the extreme differences in the two mares that these two turned out to be so similar!!!! Regardless, I am thankful for my two healthy babies!!!!
