Well, the colt is still alive and kicking: we were really worried about him on the second day (colostrum too late and he immediately picked up an infection). He is doing better now, and they may have found him a nurse mare in Kentucky. Hopefully she will accept him! Still no pics...hopefully I can go visit him on Monday.

Just a few crappy pics (I hate the light in that place...ah well). He went for umbilical surgery the other day because he was basically losing all the good stuff they were putting in him with the plasma. Very funny baby, he's brave and OPINIONATED as all get out. I think he's going to be interesting to train The bay mare in the background is his new mom.

Wow, I'm very sorry. The mare is beautiful, and the foal is just adorable.

The horse in my avatar is not mine, he belongs to a neighbor down the road.
