Welcome to the forum! I think both mare and stallion are very pretty.

I briefly scanned and saw some rude remarks at the beginning - it never ceases to amaze me how people have no fear to state their "opinions" under the anonymity of the internet. Commenting on the sire and dam now, after she is already in foal is completely ineffectual because we can't change anything now. Ok, that was all I had to say about that. Onwards.

I apologize if you mentioned this, but what in particular are you hoping for? Filly? Colt? Any specific colour? I know those are all aesthetic, but lets all face it, we all have a favorite "look"! Any specific discipline you're looking for?

Thank you so much for the warm welcome :) I really appreciate it after how the beginning of this thread went down lol.

I am really really hoping for a filly! I'm sure because I want one so bad, I'll get a nice big colt As for the color, I'm pretty sure I'm stuck with sorrel. Both mom and dad are sorrel...so it appears my choices are sorrel, and sorrel. I am hoping for a lot of chrome though! I'm a sucker for stockings and a blaze! This sire is known for throwing some crazy looking white on solid babies, so my fingers are crossed!

Discipline wise, I am going to venture into the stock show and working cow horse world. There is an organization here in Texas called SHOT (Stock Horse of Texas Stock Horse of Texas : Helping You Ride a Better Horse ) that I plan on getting involved with when this baby is ready.

It's so exciting...I need to calm myself! I've got a looong time to wait

Yes you're right! Sorrel to sorrel breedings always produce sorrel foals. I hope you get your filly with chrome.

I know how you feel. My mare is in foal, due at the beginning of April. She has ~158 more days to go until she is "due" (day 340). I downloaded a counter widget on my phone that counts down the days. I'm excited now; I can't imagine how I'll feel once I'm out of the triple digits!

It's so nice to know I'm not alone I'll have something to do (seeing/reading about y'alls new foals) while I'm camped outside my mare's stall waiting

I have friends that are actually pregnant, and I think I'm more insane than them.
