No Baby :( Results Are In...

May isn't pregnant......found out today. :( had to give the bad news to the stallion owner. It couldn't be the stud...his semen was good. I'm surprised.

She is in full blown heat asking to be bred. She'll be serviced to Bentley this time and we'll see what happends.....we got two good mounts on her tonight...third one he was too tired but really tried. We'll be breeding everyday maybe twice a day just to get him ready for shipments as long as the both of them are still into it....wish me luck.....

I'm so sorry, maybe she'll do better with live cover.

I don't know a lot about breeding but breeding too often like twice (never heard of 3 times) in one day can create clearance issues......I though the rule of thumb was every other day........but no more then once.

Can you just leave then together and let nature take it's course.

We never bred our stallions every day to the same mare. We did every other day.

That was my understanding, every other day.

Well, normally I do it every other day, but out vet suggested we did it everyday because the stud went through degenerazation...once the week is over he'll have his exam and get ready for a couple said he did last year...he's only 16 and getting a second opinion this year. I don't think he's he's lost it.

We don't have another arena to do it. Otherwise we probably could of done it...he only covered twice because the first time he didn't quite ejaculate and when he started to move his tail he did it on the ground then finally got in... He's a big boy and we have to help him since she shorter and a little smaller.
