Foal
I too have a mare in foal. She is ten year old quarter horse. Was bred beginning of April with cool shipped semen from a stallion I picked from Fredricksburg Texas. He is 100% foundation, my mare is 83.74 foundation. The foal will be 91%. Trying to preserve foundation. She is the light of my life too, such good therapy as I have terminal ovarian cancer. She is due march 14 2014,

I only mention the Gunner because that's the only well known QH I'm really familiar with, plus my BO has a stud by him and four VERY athletic grandbabies on the ground being started right now. They are coming around wonderfully, and HUGE!

Thanks. I am pretty happy to have it all over with. He is such an interesting color. He looks bay but his legs are light. I can see black under there though. It is going to be interesting to see what color he ends up. I am just happy he is healthy and mama is ok.
