Had ninety day ultra sound, a little frustrated my vet is sending ultrasounds to my email, but not coming through. I've checked my trash, and done everything I know to do. He's on his honeymoon this week so I'm going to vet first thing next Monday with my iPad, and stay until it comes through. This is her fourth ultra sound and I have none of them to post and keep. Love my vet, but a little frustrated. He did say he thought the foal was a filly.will do another ultra sound in sixty days, maybe another chance to see.

Well been awhile since I've posted about peppy. We are still doing progesterone shots every six days. She and baby are doing great. She is four months along and starting to show. I swear I saw movement in her back sides yesterday. Did have a scare two weeks ago , peppy had lost her pasture mate, he was sold. She was very sad, but could fence line other horses. She has become food aggressive, my food is mine and so is yours. So there was concern about putting another horse in and the possibility of peppy being kicked. Well she decided she wanted to join the herd in pasture next to hers. So she jumped a four foot fence, did knock the top rail off, and did not get the reception she was hoping for. There was apparently a lot of squealing and flying hoofs going on. She defended herself amazingly well, she had two of them on one(her). Fortune lay someone was there, and ran to break it up. After breaking them up peppy was limping, so was loaded up and transported to her vet. I met her at the vet, a good check, pain meds, overnight stay. Followup ultrasound on the baby(has been named( Peppys Legacy) and all is well. Whew! Dodged the BULLET!

Glad she is ok. It is not fun when they decide they want to go where they are not supposed to and get hurt.
