    Hugs, its never easy to make the decision to put a horse down, especially such a young horse. I was in your shoes in a way 2 years ago. I had a 3 year old that I knew had some issues, but we didn't realize how big his issues were, and I finally decided that it was unfair to try and keep him alive and do tests to find out what we could do if anything, and even though it hurts, I am able to look back now and know that I did what was best for him. HUGS

    So sorry to hear Toby did not make it. Such a traumatic experience to have to go through. He looked so perfect on the outside. Know that you did what you could and ended his suffering. Hang in there.
