Smile Predicting Size

Hi All.

Ive not been on this site in ages, but have always enjoyed the feedback from other memebers.
New question, and its just for curiosity here..

I have a really lovely colt that my mare had in may 2012, she is 14.2 arab x tb and after going to a fair few stallion yards we went for a 16.1 dwb x tb in the hope of a 15h-ish final horse size for the foal.

Now i know that there are always exceptsions and many generations from way back can come to the fore.. but just for fun and curiosity really..has anyone out there got a full up size from the above sized parents?

He is 8months old and about 13h at present and my dream come true and i often visulise him all grown up and wonder what size he will stop at, not that it matters to me tho.

Curious...anyone have any ??

I would have to guess at 15.2 for the final height but that's just a guess.
my farrier has a 3 yr old purebred Arabian colt who is currently 16.2 hands high, a full hand taller than his sire and nearly 2 hands taller than the dam :O

Unfortunately there is no way to predict completely a horse's final height. Your best bet would be to use the string test.
