Pregnant Mare Health Checklist?

My mare is 9 1/2 months pregnant. Does anyone have a checklist of health things I should check every morning that I can just go through, check off, then easily compare to other days? Things like if she's bagging up, loosening muscles, ect.?

And this is our first foal, so any tips at all would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you everyone!

Here is one of many websites that have good info and pics Foaling

They are all different, though. Our maiden mare just foaled last Saturday. She looked like she could foal anytime all last week. I checked on her at 4:30 am and she looked the same. At 6:30 am I saw her laying down on her straw pile, so I ran out and her foal had just been born.

The hardest part is the wait

I would suggest that you administer a 5 way and rabies at this time and worm the mare.
I always give my pregnant mare their annual shots at least 4-6 weeks before foaling to ensure they pass on the immunity to their foals.
Then wait.
She will foal when she is ready not one minute before .
When her bag is so full you think it will burst she is close. If she is dripping milk she should foal within the next 24-48 hours.
Remember however none of this is written in stone.
Good luck. Chances are she will do just fine. Shalom

Honey Boo Boo's Pregnancy Thread

This follows my mare, Honey Boo Boo, from just about the same time in her pregnancy as your mare until she delivers. You might find a few things in there.
