Quarter Horse Filly born 4/7

A friend of mine had a mare due the same day as one of my mares, we were racing... she won...
She gave me the OK to share since I know were a baby-picture-lovin' place & she would like thoughts as to what color this baby is? I haven't seen her in person yet. I'm leaning towards bay, owner is still thinking buckskin.

Momma is a palomino out of the Hollywood Dun It line with a lot of buckskins in her background. The sire is this guy,

Baby had a bit of a rough start and had to be pulled out. She also has contracted tendons which are being addressed by the vet tomorrow.

She looks like a dark buckskin/dun to me or a bay. I can't really decide, lol. She sure is A-dorable for sure! Please tell her thank you for allowing you to share with us!

Cute baby! I'm thinking very sooty buckskin as well.

Sire is a handsome boy.

So cute,

My guess is smokey black or buckskin... bay is possible though

She's either a bay or a brown. Not a buckskin or a black. Sure is a cutie though.

Sire is a Brown as well IMO.

And, not that I have the most experience in it, but all Buckskin babies I've seen were very light and darken later while the Bay/browns tend to already be the darker color. So I would say bay/brown. She's plenty cute without a cream gene too!
