Many of the names close up (last 2 generations) are not that well known but that doesn't take away from their accomplishments. I don't know much about TBs either so I will leave that side of the family alone. However, on his daddies side, there are quite a few nice well rounded performance horses. I especially like how good The Investor was (points in halter, WP, reining, and cutting). That is a nice all around using horse. Plus, farther back, he has Poco Bueno, Leo, Joe Reed, and Skipper W. They are all big names in the foundation of the QH breed. He even has Top Deck (who goes back to Man O War).
IMHO, you have a pretty nicely bred Appendix right there. He ought to be good for about anything you want to do with him.
