    registering a part bred?

So i'm curious as how you would go about registering a foal as a part bred arab if you do not know the dams breeding, however know of the sire's? Is it possible?

Many part bred Arabs have a grade parent that was bred to a purebred.

Write the dam's name (whatever she is called) and write grade for her breed and registration number is left blank

    Does that help?

I don't see why not. You can always call up customer service and ask them to be sure.

As long as the sire is registered and DNA'd with AHA or one of the other reputable Arabian registries, the foal can be registered as half Arabian.

You'll of course have to know his registered name and registration number for the paperwork on your foal.

The AHA is only concerned with the Arab part of the pedigree. Unless you are registreing an Anglo Arab.
I have a registered mare that was bred to a registed QH before I purchased her. I always answer grade unless it is a TBx. Shalom
