Reining Mare due...last week

My last reining mare (Have one more all rounder) is at day 348 now. She has been a funny mare. She checked in foal early then up until a month ago had me thinking she must have lost it somewhere along the way. She just didn't look very big. I've been watching her close and about 3 weeks ago I noticed that she was starting to develope a bit of udder so a few days later we had her checked (By then her udder was filling nicely and I was able to get a small of amount of fluid out of her teats) And sure enough the little mare is in fact in foal. Since I am missing my family vacation cause she couldn't foal within the average time frame I decided to post a thread about her.

As of right now I think she still has a few weeks. She has a decent udder but seems pretty tight in the back end still. There is a full moon on maybe?! I am thinking more like May 1st

Will add pictures soon :) In the meantime I've added one of her from the fall. I love this mare, she is STUNNING althought I can't seem to capture that. She is a daughter of Hangten Peppy and out of a GREAT mare Missy Montoya. I am pretty excited about this foal and I am hoping for a filly but since she is late I'm expecting a colt.

Subbing. I read that over 60% mares That are in foal do not have the foal until after 355. So normal could be 330-365. Hope you get a healthy baby.

If you get a colt... you have to call him Inigo Montoya. OK? Or something from the famous line in Princess Bride.

"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

She is just lovely, her baby will be gorgeous.

Shhhhhhh! Don't tell her that. I brought her in last night and no way is she close, very tight in the back end.

OK this mare is beautiful...but this is literally the only good picture I have of her. She is not at all photogenic. I am going to go out and take some pictures of her this afternoon so hopefully some of them actually shows her true beauty.

Take a wind sock .. or have someone run around pumping an umbrella open and closed .. or throw a rug over yourself and act like a bear ...

She'll be photogenic
