Rugged Lark lines - Your opinions/experiences?

I've recently been working with a couple of Quarter Horses out of the Rugged Lark lines, and I'm completely unfamiliar with Quarter Horse breeding, I only have heard that Rugged Lark was incredibly well know. I'm just curious as to what most people think of horses with this pedigree and what experiences (if any) any of you have had with them?

Thanks so much!

I don't own any Rugged Lark horses but I would in a heart beat. Have rode a fair amount of his grand babies and there was not one that I didn't like. All were incredibly versatile and super good minded.

I would love to own a Rugged Lark baby one day! Awesome horses! Amazingly versatile. I was in love with Rugged Lark when I was youngster. He was my first super horse I followed. I begged my parents to buy me all the magazines with Rugged Lark in them. I think Lark is the reason I love bay colored horses too! Handsome, handsome horse! Carol Rose is an outstanding QH breeder

Yeah, the two I've been riding are really neat horses. I enjoy that they both have a brain. Very, very clever and very quick learners. But also really quick with their shoulders, so I have to be on my A-game to keep them on task, lol.
