Thank you, that opens up a lot of possibilities for me :) some very very nice stallions internationally. Also some very nice stallions on the east coast that wouldn't be available to me if I was going live-cover only. I think it's a matter of choosing who compliments my mare best and will produce what I want in a foal. I want an eventer/showjumper with height, substance [Filly is fine, with small feet, so I want a foal with more bone and bigger feet], talent, and a willing, trainable, ammy-friendly temperament.
At the moment I'm wavering between imported semen from the European jumping stallion Luidam, live cover from the imported all-round-bred stallion HG Salzburg [dressage and jumping lines on both sides], and a very very nice chestnut Arabian stallion called Chelleason Bey Chall [for an Anglo foal - an Anglo wouldn't be an upper-level horse but it's an incredibly versatile cross], but I have heaps of time to decide, and if I'm looking at AI I can look more seriously interstate and internationally.
A CLEAN SLATE FOR THE FUTURE
