Hi BigGirlsRideWarmbloods!

Wonderful! We are working on a sexed product for stallions. It is a program that sadly hasn't had the correct passion and dedication put into it until now. I am very excited to have such a program to develop and offer to the horse industry. Also, all comments, questions and concerns I take to heart in said program development. :) Pricing is one of the many questions to be answered yet so I will keep you posted. It is likely it will be based on a dose or ejaculate price, rather than per straw like the bulls are. We are making good progress with fresh cooled and frozen is the next step!

Check with Colorado State University's Equine Reproduction center. I know we have them just not sure of its a public thing.

I would be concerned about the following points;
1) The narrowing of the gene pool, i.e. if too many colts born and not enough fillies
2) Monopolisation of the sector i.e. a vast number of fillies by one stud
3) The risk of 'accidents' - wrong sex for incidence
4) The backlash from ^^

Plus, it would take the fun out of it :). I can understand why a home breeder or small scale breeder wanting to extend the damline might want it, but i do not agree with it. Sorry.

My friend did sex-sorting for themselves, many years ago, when she and her husband wanted a boy after only having girls. It worked.

The more I think about it the more I dislike this technology.
Its like cloning. It is amazing what we can do now and in the future. However just because we can, should we? Nature has a way of getting it right without interference. This is playing G-D IMO. Something I think will be detrimental in the long run.
These custom order foals have no appeal for me. Shalom
