She'll be gray. MAYBE silver bay? You can tell by the gray around her eyes, and also the color change you can see in her tail. Her body hair is turning gray, as well. If that's her dam in the pic, gray horses *usually* have gray foals. I speak from experience, not science haha
Sorry, I know nothing about horse genetics but do you think you could explain that to me? She certainly looks nowhere near grey to me?
Grey horses always start out pretty dark; usually bay, or black-ish, in color, but sometimes the more dark chestnut color as your baby is exhibiting. As a horse ages more and more white coat comes in, replacing the darker coat.
