She had her baby!

I haven't said much about orur newest addition to our equine family, but my uncle bought a mule (donkey?) a few weeks ago... A pregnant one. Her name's Tilda (it's horrible, isn't it). Anyway, according to my other uncle, she had her baby this morning during all the thunderstorms. Also according to him, it's black and is the ugliest thing on earth. We dunno what gender it os or anything... and I don't have any pictures; it's too wet and rainy to go get some right now. At any rate, I get to name it and mess with it, as the baby is supposed to be my grandmothers, lol.

Sounds like a donkey, mules can only very, very rarely breed.

Well, momma is definitely not a mule -- she's a donkey. Baby could be a mule (or is it hinny when dadda's a horse?) or could be a donkey. If its a he and its a donkey and he turns brown/grey, I vote for Eeyore! It just suits all donkeys!

I agree with northern mama, eeyore would most def be a cute name!
