Oh, and it should be mentioned that just because they carry the roan gene doesn't mean that they will be colored like this


Some horses that are genetically roan have a grand total of 3 white hairs on their entire body.

In that respect, it is very much like the pinto patterns, just because they carry the gene doesn't mean that they will be all splashy colored.

There is lots of horse breeders closer to home just go shopping over internet & ask around.Just a few websites of Sask horse breeders to start out,not saying they have what you want but a start to looking...
