Shots for Pregnant or Soon to be pregnant mares...

Do mares get different shots before there bred or if already pregnant? I am interested in learning about breeding and the care of horses before and after breeding. I am thinking about doing this program as well as the other ones....Black Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses from Rockin' Heart Ranch just wanting to learn all there is about everything dealing with the horse industry. Thank you for any tips or advice

I was told when my brother's mare was found in foal, that she needed shots in the first part and then again a month later. I think others have talked about once a month or every two. I think it might depend on the vet and the program.
