Skye's Foaling Thread

Well my girl Skye is coming up due very quickly so thought I may as well put up a thread. She could drop anywhere from the 18 Oct to the end of Nov. So far her udder is starting to slowly fill, very small change in the feel of her hindend, stomachs dropped and slight relaxing of the vulva. I've separated her off from the other girls as she prefers to be alone to foal. I'm looking forward to putting up some new foal pics soon :)

Heres a few pics, the expectant mother from 3 weeks ago

Thanks she's rather special to me this mare. I'll have to find some pics of the sire this arvo, can't post from my phone. He is a friesian of the more modern sporty type, over 16hh but can't remember the exact height. This will be a full sibling to the filly above.

Do you want to have a guess? She's not something you'd usually cross with a friesian but they complimented each other nicely.

Nope, not a quarter horse, she's pure standardbred. My vet didn't believe me until he saw her neck brand and was convinced she was a cross.

And finally daddy pics. There a bit old now (2010) and he's filled out more since they were taken. He was a 4 year old here. I'll keep looking for last years/Jan this year photos.
