So Excited!!

Today at 6, my horse is going to be bred!! So excited! Just thought I'd share that with everyone!

You are a great champion. When you ran, the ground shook, the sky opened and mere mortals parted.
I love you Vinty, you'll always be my champion.

Congrats! :)

Here is the stud!

She was bred really easy for being a maiden! She's such a good girl!

OOOOOHH! I have "met" your mare-- she is very lovely. I was looking at some available TB mares and almost took her home, but chose another mare instead-- a Matchlite granddaughter rather than a daughter, like your mare is. I have often wondered where she ended up.

Is the stallion a TB or a warmblood or...? he is quite handsome-- do tell more!

He is stunning! Good choice! The foal should be beautiful! I hope she caught. Will you breed her back if she didn't?

If she didn't catch then yes I will. I want a foal from him so bad. He's Hanoverian.

Eastowest that's so weird! Yup she's with me now. I love her so much! We are breeding her while I ride an old school master so I can learn more.

I am glad you have her. I passed on her for a couple reasons-- she was pretty hot and apparently has alot of "jump", and I have a herd of older mares and wanted a good calm "fit" in the pasture-- and, she was sound, young, and looked and moved so gorgeously that I figured she could have a meaningful riding career, and I was looking for a mare who might get ridden once in awhile but was mainly going to raise a couple Appaloosa sport type foals and hang around and eat grass and look cute in between babies.....

.....so I went with a very nice quality, tall, sweet mare who had been hurt on the track and had major stifle surgery sand who would not be able to go far (if anywhere) under saddle, but was vetchecked fine for breeding.

Do you get the TB mares inspected to breed to Hanoverians? I would guess Vinty would do well.....

Haha, she can be spirited but she's calming down really well, she still gallops around the field when turned out. :) She is my dressage horse now, I may do some small jumps later on, but dressage is our thing and she loves it. She is getting Canadian sport horse approved soon. And so is the stallion. She's going back to the royal next November she placed second last year and 3 overall the tbs. I'm glad you found a good fit for your herd and I bet the babies are/will be extremely cute!

He looks like a lovely stallion!

Is there a link to his website where we can see more pictures of him?
