solonos spice girl!?

So I am looking to buy this mare, she is a brood mare only due to the fact that she missing a bone in her knee.

She does though have great pedigree and conformation along with a great attitude. She is not good to ride because of the bone thing, because of her pedigree would she be ok to breed?

I will post her pedigree when I remember it:P I know her registered name is solonas spice girl, she is not in the pedigree query because they never put her on there, I believe she has solonos peppy san, peppy san, dry doc freedom. That's all I rememember. I should be able to find out more tomorrow and hopefully post pictures!

How did she come to be missing a bone in her knee?? That would be a deciding factor for me in terms of buying a broody. If she had a horrible accident as a foal, that is dealable. If she was born missing a bone in her body, has it been determined why?

Not trying to be rude, but I thought you said you had too many horses now and didn't want anymore except to breed your grade mare?

If I get this one I will sell another one so I still am left with three in the end. This is not about how many horses I have though, its about the mare.

Are you now not going to breed your grade?

Nope, not breeding my grade! I decided this would be the better option and if in a couple years I still want a foal from her then maybe I will. But as of now no.

I may have missed it but what is your reasoning for wanting a foal? What are you going for that you couldn't just buy?

Well I want the experience of a foal s I have not had one in a long time, I want that is inexpensive with good blood lines, and I love the bloodlines that would come with this foal. What was your reasoning for wanting a foal? Why couldnt you just buy?

I don't even know what to say...What are your plans in the long run for a foal? You even stated your self you didn't have time for all of your horses and that most weren't even broke..Why buy a new mare and breed her and have another horse on the way?

I have a mre that I will be vary busy with this next year or two with with reining training, shows and clinics. As well as starting two of my own colts and putting miles on other people horses. Have her bred this year will give her a break and alow me time for the rest.
That's what you said about breeding the grade mare..are you trying to start a collection?
