Sour's Foaling Thread

Aghhhh. I'm sorry guys, I was just corrected today. Sour isn't due on JULY 10th, she's due on AUGUST 10th. For some reason when I saw 8.10.12 and thought July was month 8 >.> I honestly don't know how I've gotten as far as 11th grade. Ahaha.

That should clear up why she's wide but not HUGE...XD that will come later.

ANYWAYS, heres some more pictures. She's so dang wide now that I can't fit her between the shafts of the cart, so I can't really drive her O_o. So I improvized by deciding to saddle her! I don't ever plan on using her as a riding horse because I'm against minis being ridden, but I figured it was good for desensatizing her and it was SUPER cute! So here's some pictures of preggo and her shetland saddle that doesn't fit. Hehe.

I was actually really suprised. First time ever saddling her and she stood like a champ, and lunged well. Then it started pouring rain and we all ran under the deck...and I brought her with me xD that was the ultimate test of her mellowness, because I drug her under the metal deck with me, in a thunder storm, with atleast 10 people crowded around us. She was fantastic! Hehehe.

Side note - SO JEALOUS of your rain. We are having a drought here in Indiana and hay prices are about to get redonkulous...

Haha, thanks! She's making progress in leaps and bounds and its so exciting to watch.

As for the rain, don't be too jealous. This is the first real rain that we've had since about two months ago, and that's after coming off of a 14 month drought here. Hay prices were as much as $225 for a crummy 900 pound round bale, and everything was dying. Add that to an expected drought coming up this summer, and we were estatic to get a little rain!
