They have her listed for sale many places. Looks like the latest is this one.....

She is stunning.

It is really not our business, but perhaps the breeder, who has her, feels like they paid for her? You said they paid you some, then stopped paying, and then you got back your mare and foal. Perhaps they think you are "even"? Just a guess on my part. They certainly are not trying to hide her, and for her price, she will likely go to a good show home. Guess from what I see she is not "at risk" so to speak.

Interesting. I find it so hard to believe that someone would stoop so low as to do this. Happens every day though. But not typically with such a reputable farm? There are members on here that have bred to Redwine and I haven't heard anything "bad" about GFF.

UM...sadly to say...yes ...HUGE problems when I bought my mare/had her bred to Redwine. VERY huge warning here. It was extremely shocking from a supposedly reputable farm. There was ZERO contact after I had paid,lies,switching dates,etc. I'm not surprised to hear it has happened again...feel free to PM if you want more details.

From last August..I was literally at my wits end as to what to do. A member on here helped me SO MUCH and I finally got my mare home,but it was NOT easy.

What should I even do at this point?

OMG. I'm so disappointed in hearing this. Karma will catch up to those people. It's a wonder they even are still in business. It's unfortunate that they have such nice stallions.

Piaffe, now that I know this, on your breeding thread I said Redwine again, But I wouldn't do business with any of GFF's stallions. Which is so sad because they are beautiful and accomplished. But it's just not worth the hassle or heartbreak.

Sadly..this Exactly .I love Redwine and Federalist...but to breed her back to one of them...gah...I can't even explain now...a year later how absolutely frustrated I was. I wouldn't want to do it again. And that is really disappointing.

^^^ Not only that...But why support such a shady person? She should go to he77. LoL. Pay the money to someone that actually deserves it and cares about their reputation and their clients.

OP- I am so sorry this has happened to you. I would definitely recommend just getting a lawyer. I also wanted go the "find out where the hell my horse is and go pick it up" route...but it just isn't a good idea. I can't believe she has her posted up for sale and she isn't even hers! I will keep my ears open/my eyes out for the filly. This is just a sad situation...
