Ok so I just found this site so this is a little old lol. Anyway my mare, Summer Moonshine just had her first foal which was a filly on July 20 of this year. Summer is a QH/BS mare. We breed her to a friesian stallion named Captian.
Now I read that most look down on crosses like this but she turned out lovely. Luna is black with a star, snip and almost full blaze. She is all legs really but her bone structure is pretty light not bulky and is already graceful. She has muscles that could make some qh owners jealous. She has the most ideal personality. She's smart, friendly, trusting and curious. Very well tempered like both parents(im glad I got to meet the stallion first) I will try to get pictures soon but I wanted to know what you think about her vs what you think all QH/draft crosses looked liked. But I would like to say that originally Friesans we a breed of light saddle horses that were later breed to bigger horses to be used for work etc.
