Exclamation talk to me about some bloodlines please

I've heard lots of people say some bloodlines have real good minds, some are really bad buckers, some are hard workers, etc. im very interested in hearing about this

Tell me about your favorite lines in certain disciplines.

I'd really like to learn more

Bk Moon Quarter Horse

Well, here's my guy. He's SO handsome. He was advertised as a Sunny Dee Bar, but I don't know enough about bloodlines to know if that is the dominant influence in him. Anyway, he's SMART. Maybe one of the smartest in the barn. He is big and athletic.

He is also pushy and stubborn. I'd read Sunny Dee Barr's are stubborn but once they trust you they will do anything for you. Well, we haven't gotten to that point yet ;). If given another opportunity to buy an AQHA horse, I'd wish for one that was a little less opinionated.

Wink

Oh, and he bucks, and I wouldn't really call him a hard worker, either.

But I love him.

Is it a bad sign that he has a gr. Gr. Grandsire named KILLUM?

LOL just teasing you-- he has some well known ancestors back there.

Is he chestnut with socks and a blaze like so many of the Sonny Dee bar descendants are?

Nope. He's black or dark bay with one white ankle and one white coronet band. But I'm not just bragging, his conformation is really really handsome. This is the only pic I have on this computer that shows all of him, sorry about the saddle, etc. . So what are his ancestors famous for? Sunny Dee is the only one I researched ...
