Here she is! Today I actually got a big puddle of milk from her! Or, pre milk, I guess, it was runny and yellow. She seemed to have lost a few pounds after I wormed her so I added beet pulp to her feed to help her out. I've got a ton from experimenting with the ponies.
I agree. Also, I am new to the foaling aspect of the horse world, but if your mare was supposed to give birth before now, should you call a vet? I know maiden mares tend to be more unpredictable, but I'm just comparing it to human pregnancy I guess. If the birth is late, it usually means something Is wrong, but may be able to be fixed. That worked for me ! I was due to call the vet a week last Thursday (Fox was a month "overdue") and when I went down in the morning - the little man had been born! Give it a try
