Traveling Dorsal Stripe?

Is this me or this stallion's dorsal stripe traveling up to his poll? I thought this was kind of cool :)

It's counter shading.

He's a lovely color.

CLaPorate - No it is a Dorsal. The horse in question is a dunskin, no question about it.

Im talking about up his neck and by his poll. Yes down his back is a dorsal. But the side of his neck is counter shading. Same with his withers.

No that's wither/neck barring, very common in duns.

ETA - Der, you'd think I'd slow down on the "reply" button. Both of my friend's red duns have the wither/neck barring similar to that. Soda has a little wither barring, but not that extreme.

You need to specify that then CLaPorte. It's not considered counter-shading at that point. It shoulder and neck shadowing.

The horse in question is SBR Formula One. He is most assuredly a Dunskin.
