Twins Born

So I don't know if this is the right place, but I was just super excited and wanted to share. At the clinic I work at, a mare came in who gave birth to two healthy colts. They're about a week old now and while the chestnut is smaller they're both very healthy, friendly, and active. And the mare is doing well also.

I've never been around twins before as they are extremely rare and I don't really have alot of their story but they're amazing to see. I'll try and get some pictures on.

Pictures would be great. Twins are extremely rare and both twins surviving is even more rare. I can't wait to see some pics :)

Wow! That's wonderful! So cool. I can't wait to see some pictures. I have some information about twins in one of my horse magazines I read. I'll post some information later, but I think that chances are one to ten thousand of them being born or even surviving or something. Might not be right, anyway. That is very cool.

What I heard was 1 in 10,000 births are twins. But less then 1% of those are born live or make it more than a few hours.

But many owners will abort one of the fetuses if they find out there are twins. Thankfully these guys were both born. They're adorable!
Im going to to try to get over to the clinic today -- It's been super busy so hopefully I can catch them before the owner takes them back. The traffic of people comming to get a look at them has been crazy
